Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
Dealing with the supply and install of rainscreen facades, roofing, and cladding. Services include new build and refurbishment projects for commercial, industrial, and residential market sectors. Reviewing client specifications, surveys, and manufacturers' design information to produce designs. Occasional site surveys to obtain further information. Managing the development and implementation of design proposals to meet client expectations. Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard. Scheduling of required materials to an agreed programme for buying. Ensuring information is passed between departments for technical support on designs. Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £6m. The ideal applicant will have:
Design experience within the building envelope market sector. Sound knowledge of building regulations and standards. Strong AutoCAD LT & AutoCAD experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High levels of organisation and attention to detail. Enthusiastic, team player who works well individually.
