We are excited to be recruiting a Desktop Support Engineer to join our exceptional team at SSCL, where you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming Defence Business Services. Collaborating with a dynamic, innovation-driven team, you’ll help deliver seamless services to our Government and Defence clients through world-class digital solutions. This role will require travel into the Gosport office on a regular basis, for training or client needs. What you'll be doing: Providing desktop support and troubleshooting for end-users. Managing Active Directory tasks, including user additions, removals, and password resets. Responding to and resolving incidents via the helpdesk system. Diagnosing incident causes and completing requests, including software installations and permission changes. Building and deploying Windows desktops, supporting printer installations, and facilitating room moves. What you’ll bring: Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 2016. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving desktop issues. Experience in deploying physical desktop PCs and managing desktop printers. Active Directory account management. It would be great if you had: Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Skills in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for desktop, software, and patch deployments. Familiarity with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
