Our Cheshire based client develops and manufactures a range of chemicals, and they are currently recruiting for a
Development Chemist . This is a hands-on role and will involve developing new products for a variety of applications on a project basis. Additional responsibilities will include:
Understanding a range of existing
product formulations
and
additives
available to enhance the
performance
of improved/modified formulations. Managing multiple product development projects at any one time. Developing/utilising test methods, devising appropriate tests as necessary. Understanding key regulatory guidelines and ensuring formulated products are compliant. Writing technical reports, updating formulation/process documentation. Liaising with key technical teams onsite. Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemistry (or related subject) together with proven demonstrable skills and experience with surfactant/additive based formulations.
