Development Engineer Milton Keynes GBP35,000 - 45,000 T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an exciting automotive manufacturing business to help them recruit a Development Engineer. As a Development Engineer, you would be responsible for developing and delivering powertrain systems for a variety of applications, predominantly focusing on projects within the motorsports and automotive sectors. Key Responsibilities as a Development Engineer Oversee the planning, design, development and testing of systems in line with client requirements. Work closely with design, production and manufacturing engineers overseeing all stages of projects. Develop and implement test procedures and interpret and analyse the results and data of these tests, to report and present data to clients and managers. Manage and coordinate a concerns database, ensuring all issues are logged. Demonstrate through testing that the system/features meet all specified requirements. Requirements to be a successful Development Engineer Experience in or an interest in powertrain Engineering. Knowledge of project delivery within an engineering systems environment essential. Experience of working with Electric motors or inverters. Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Strong technical report writing skills, with experience in delivering presentations. Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject. Based at the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes, this opportunity will provide the successful applicant the chance to work on a number of exciting projects within the automotive industry. This role will likely pay up to GBP45,000 depending on the level of experience, with the package also including a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and the option to join an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme.
