Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of cutting-edge products for this market-leading firm. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where innovation, collaboration, and excellence drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-performance products from concept to production. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine designs and enhance processes. Prepare detailed and accurate designs using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD tools. Conduct performance assessments through hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Develop and test prototypes to prove design performance, including writing test specifications and overseeing testing. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM). Engage in peer design reviews, risk assessments, and technical reporting. Support manufacturing processes by creating or improving procedures for new and existing products. Manage supplier inquiries and ensure customer design approvals. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the company's market-leading status.

What We're Looking For:

A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design (Autodesk Inventor preferred). Solid understanding of engineering principles, including mathematical calculations and drafting techniques. Experience with FEA tools to analyze performance characteristics. Familiarity with elastomers, polymers, and their behaviors is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills to independently manage projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
