Development Manager required to work for a fast-growing business based in Central London. This position will primarily be remote, with some travel to the Central London offices and occasional global travel. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.

Please note that due to the global nature of this role, there may be early or late calls. Flexibility with timings is expected, and we are looking for someone dedicated rather than someone seeking a strict 9am - 5pm position. Immediate availability is a bonus.

Essential Experience:

Exposure to or experience in Professional Services organizations. Experience working in a global environment. Solid vendor management skills and experience managing third-party vendors.

The role is approximately 60% hands-on and 40% strategic. You will be leading a team of around 25-30 people, including third-party vendors.

Experience Required:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a development manager position, managing multiple development teams in an international environment. Experience with diverse technologies and processing environments, specifically Microsoft Tech Stack - .NET, C#, Azure. Understanding of agile methods and processes, with the ability to support agile project teams by providing advice and guidance. Strong writing skills for stakeholders at technical and executive levels. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Strong leadership skills with experience managing sizable teams. Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle components within an enterprise. Understanding of financial models and budgeting. Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and cloud-native applications. Ability to work with developers in both in-house and outsourced environments. Project management skills. Strong analysis, communication, and presentation skills. Scheduling abilities. Vendor and supplier management skills, ensuring visibility to industry product and service roadmaps. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
