In this role you'll: Deliver a prioritised programme of improvement involving research, gathering data and working with internal teams and external partners to identify best practice. Review and develop clear, high-quality documents for both internal use and the public, such as policies, procedures and guidance. Contribute to the development of software tools and applications that support our business needs to account for new business process workflows. Ensure highway asset management principles including high quality and consistent highway data is factored into solutions. Assist with procurement, contract management and funding applications. Support team members to help them implement solutions. The Ideal Candidate
You will have: A relevant degree or similar experience in agile project management and business improvement. Experience in improving services including drafting policies, business processes, procedures and operational systems. Knowledge of managing highways including relevant laws and regulations. Ability to challenge current working practices, promote creativity and solve problems using innovative methods. Experience of successfully implementing change and embedding new ways of working. Able to work independently with strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities. Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated and focused on making effective solutions work. Proven skills in collaboration, networking and communication.
