This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s state-of-the-art game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland. WHAT WE DO

We collaboratively work supporting and connecting development departments covering overall production timeline tracking, specialising within game support for content, features, mechanics, and systems as required for each project. It is our responsibility to work collaboratively with every department to maintain an overall understanding of our collective goals and to be part of the overarching project focus. We collaborate continuously with all other departments to maintain flexible communications around each projects stage and development. Work proactively to support and help find collaborative processes to ensure each projects structure and core is understood across the entire team. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Development Production team across the following key areas - Team Co-ordination & Focus Support:

Schedule, book and communicate meetings for the team. Note-take during meetings, and help summarise next steps, surfacing the notes and actionable steps to meeting attendees as a follow up. Manage communication channels, keeping the team connected to all other teams, departments, and disciplines. Work with Development Production to keep the Development team linked to project schedules and priorities.

Bug & Workflow Support:

Bug tracking and high-level reporting across all teams. Bug entering, responsibility and triage for heads of development support. Sanity pass bugs ensuring all relevant details are present and correct. managing the flow of bugs in various states. Provide bug status reports and tracking to help maximise efficiency, unblocking bugs and workflows. Provide project milestone progress reporting using bug data and project scheduling.

Documentation Support:

Collate and create documentation across multiple software packages as well as Confluence. Collate documentation for weekly reporting. Capture images and videos of gameplay and reference resources. Editing them where necessary.

Content & Systems Testing Support:

Assist with co-ordinating team review plays of applicable content, features, mechanics, and systems. Provide post-play reporting on issues encountered, topics for follow up and actionable next steps to be reviewed in future plays. Assist with internal testing of content and features. Liaise collaboratively with QA teams setting up passes and tasks with them, on various focus areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of one-year experience in Quality Assurance or related position within games development. SKILLS

Exceptional, confident communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with MS Office, Monday and Confluence. Ability to take complex instruction well but confident with being proactive and using initiative. Candidates must be highly motivated, organized, personable and able to work exceptionally well as part of a team. Time management and problem-solving skills around competing tasks and priorities to a high standard. Technical ability with supporting reviews and internal plays. PLUSES
