To help us deliver a first-class service to our customers, we are looking to recruit a Development Technologist who will work in our New Product Development team. Key Responsibilities

Work with team members to commercialise customer briefs from concept to launch. Assess raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Support in the preparation and dispatch of samples for customers. Identify and document product technical information including nutritional calculations, allergen assessments, and ingredient declarations. Prepare factory trials and 1st Productions for all new and improved products. Support the Head of Product Development and Senior Development Technologist in presenting new or improved products to customers. Research, develop, and share information regarding nutritional powder opportunities. Respond to and manage enquiries from internal and external stakeholders professionally. Ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards for health and safety, quality management, environmental, and other relevant standards. Essential Criteria

Degree in Food or Nutritional science or related. Desirable Criteria

Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage own workload. Experience in formulating food products. Experience in primary and secondary packaging. Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills with good attention to detail. Good communication, planning, and organising skills. Good practical skills. High degree of personal integrity and professionalism. Understanding of NPD processes, Food Safety, HACCP, and allergen management processes. Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
