We are representing an innovative company in advanced materials and composites, currently looking for a

Development Technologist

to join their Research & Product Development team.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be directly involved in researching and developing new products to align with the company’s objectives within high-performance sectors such as aerospace and motorsport. As a Development Technologist, you will be key to driving R&D projects, developing product formulations, and supporting the product development roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (including relevant ISO certifications).

Identify and explore technological advancements and R&D opportunities in line with the business strategy.

Lead and deliver agreed R&D projects from conception through to completion.

Participate in product launch activities and support related marketing initiatives.

Present R&D findings in various formats, communicating effectively with different audiences.

Assist the product development team in achieving roadmap objectives and milestones.

Provide technical support internally and externally as required.

Attend and actively contribute to team and project review meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in materials science, chemistry, or a related field.

Relevant industry experience, with proven skills in resin formulation for advanced applications.

Knowledge of analytical techniques used in resin development.

Strong project management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent presentation skills.
