Device Deployment Technician for Hayes, England for a 12-month Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, maintain, ship, track devices (cellphones, tablets, laptops, etc),
- Image and configure hardware devices for deployment to production offices using device management software
- Troubleshoot issues related to configuration and deployment
- Maintain device inventory through asset management software
- Ensure all hardware devices are kept up-to-date
- Prepare returned assets for re-deployment prior to returning them to inventory by ensuring they are serviced, and all data has been removed
- Coordinate with production office to ensure all equipment arrives in working order
- Maintain close relationships with the physical production and other departments
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of trends and best practices within the industry
Required Skills:
- 3+ Years using device management systems such as JAMF
- Warehouse/Asset Management, tracking, maintaining, deploying etc, experience
- Experience with Oomnitza-(asset management software)
- Hardware Configuration/Distribution/Provisioning
- Experience with iOS and Mac OS X
- Experience using JAMF, Oomitza and/or other device configuration and management software to configure computers, phones and tablets
- Experience setting up other hardware such as encrypted drives, conferencing solutions, Audio/Video (AV equipment), and printers for deployment
- Experience in working in media and entertainment industry
- Experience removing data and reconfiguring hardware for re-deployment
- Effectively coordinates work and communication across disparate groups of individuals, including business partners, external production crew, logistic and hardware vendors
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to configuration and deployment of macOS, iPadOS, iOS
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work on a team
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication
Education/Experience
JAMF Certification 200 or above recommended
