Device Engineer (Technical Documentation) Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Champion Device Engineering activities on projects, managing the deliverables and timelines, and liaising with the Project Managers / Device Project Leads to ensure successful project outcomes. Drive the creation of quality documentation, with a strong focus on Design Input and Design Output stages of the product development lifecycle. Support the creation of quality documentation from other departments, including Device Verification, User Interface, and Industrialisation. Participation and input into Design Reviews. Participation and input into risk assessments, such as FEMAs. Liaise with suppliers / partners to assess their offerings and monitor suitability for use in Sandoz products during the product development / procurement process. What you’ll bring to the role: Masters, PhD, or university degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant subject. Proficiency in engineering areas such as tolerance analysis, mechanism design, 3D CAD, component drawings, etc. Some experience in the development of medical devices and/or combination products within a pharmaceutical, medical devices, and/or combination products setting. Technical knowledge of medical device technology and drug-device combination products. Experience of working within the ISO13485 medical devices quality framework. Results-oriented, enthusiastic, and driven by excellence. Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
