Overview Pragmatic is currently seeking a Device Validation Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Technology Platform Team based in Cambridge. This pivotal role will primarily involve designing, developing test solutions, and assessing the performance of our core devices. The successful candidate will work closely with our Research and Development (R&D) team and Production team to uphold the high-quality standards of our products and meet the discerning needs of our customers.

Key Tasks

Collaborating effectively with the R&D team and production team to define precise validation objectives and criteria, and participating in the formulation and implementation of the master validation plans. Designing and implementing automated coding to effectively handle extensive datasets for precise analysis of test results, enabling the identification of process deviations and performance anomalies. Reviewing production test results to look for signs of measurement issues that may be impacting results. Working to automatically detect and ultimately reduce the occurrence of measurement errors. Collaborating with design and process engineers, as well as fellow test development engineers, to devise new structures for monitoring the manufacturing process and enhance test solutions, ensuring both innovation and the fortification of existing tests. Qualifications and Training

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical discipline. Those that are currently studying a PhD in a relevant discipline are very welcome to apply! Skills and Experience

Demonstrable use of Python, R, or similar for interrogating data. Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis. Understanding of thin film electronics and its basic components (TFTs, Resistors, Capacitors, etc.). A strong understanding of electronics and its core principles. Demonstrable use of standard electronics equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, pattern-generator, etc. Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment: SMUs, probe stations, LCRs, etc. A strong ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiasm.
