DevOps Architect
PERMANENT CITY OF LONDON INSURANCE HYBRID (3-4 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE OFFICE) THE ROLE My client is a reputable Specialist Insurer and they are looking for a DevOps Architect to join their City office on a permanent basis. The DevOps Architect is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as code. To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. Accountable for enhancing deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation. Maintaining documentation and training relating to DevOps Systems. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Demonstrable experience in a DevOps role at an architecture level. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python. Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible. Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep. Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: GitLab, GitLab Runners. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful APIs. ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation. Seniority level
