The DevOps Engineer will play a meaningful part in supporting the 24x7 availability and ongoing growth of our service offerings. You will possess a high degree of technical skill, Kubernetes experience, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You understand the importance of creating and maintaining highly available infrastructure at scale and the importance of following security best practices. You will also be very experienced and can troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

What You'll Do

Support automation and orchestration capabilities that allow us to operate at scale. Develop and support automation and orchestration capabilities that enable us to work at scale, including building and running our infrastructure and product code bases. Participate and influence the delivery of new service offerings, and collaborate with development teams to deliver low latency, high performance, and highly available applications. Support 24x7 availability of our customer-facing services as part of an on-call rota. Implement measures to reduce the on-call burden. Create incidents and run incident retros. Implement advanced services, tools, modules, and applications to improve software development and operations engineers' quality of life. Create advanced monitoring and alerting and gain knowledge of supported products as a user. Work cross-functionally with Support, Product, Architecture, and Engineering to provide support and assistance and support enterprise compliance initiatives.

What You'll Bring

In-depth knowledge of HA Solutions. Create, deploy, and maintain them. In-depth Understanding of Cloud Service Providers services like (EC2, R53, etc.), Databases, and load balancers. Working on understanding supporting applications running on Kubernetes with completed training and relevant experience. Comfortable creating new scripts (Python, Bash). Very good understanding of Security Best Practices. Very Experienced with Linux or Windows system administration, with relational database installation and operation and with orchestration and automation tools (Ansible and Terraform). A proven technical troubleshooter. Advanced Knowledge of Splunk and logging solutions. Seasoned in Agile concepts and SCRUM.
