We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our talented team.

In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing collaboration between development and operations teams. You will drive the adoption of automation tools and processes, ensuring seamless deployment and integration throughout the software development lifecycle. As a DevOps Engineer, your expertise will enable us to build, test, and maintain our software and infrastructures efficiently. You will work closely with developers to ensure quality and security while fostering a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) within Vix. What You'll Bring To The Role: Ability to attend our Manchester offices on-site, 5 days per week. Strong experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based environments. Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Shell). Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward challenges. Strong communication skills to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices. What’s in it for you?
