Currently based in Cheshire, JSL works with clients to design, develop, and deliver strategies and solutions that enable technology transformation across various CRM systems like Salesforce and SAP. JSL has worked with clients in different industries and is a registered service provider with VEOLIA UK & Ireland IS&T.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer. You will be helping us undertake a fast-paced Salesforce implementation across the entire business and contribute to shaping the CI/CD process of the Salesforce project.
Your role will primarily focus on setting up the CI/CD process, implementing deployment processes, and making improvements for our partners, customers, and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, operate, and support the CI/CD process. Collaborate with developers to improve their skills regarding the CI/CD process. Take an active part in release management. Develop custom pipelines and validations based on business requests. Automate services to lower the iteration of developers. Support across all environments (from tooling to production, from CI/CD to application issues). Implement monitoring around the environments. Implement, maintain, and operate the Service Catalogue. Responsible for upgrades, maintenance, and patching. Responsible for backups. Facilitate knowledge sharing and education. Encourage best practices. Prevent teams from reinventing the wheel by solving common problems. Ensure smooth operation. Develop the offering. Skills & Experience:
DevOps knowledge (GreatSet, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, GitHub). AWS knowledge. Good experience in support functions (cloud support, Dev support, production support). 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps or in a related discipline. High level of autonomy. Salesforce package XML knowledge and Salesforce development skills. Job Type:
