DevOps (Azure) Lead Our client is a global leader in the commercial energy sector. Their teams are distributed widely in Australia, France, Belgium, and the UK. They work on more than 17 products, all at different stages of their life cycle with trading desks operating in Europe and Australia. Main Responsibilities Create the DevOps vision with the team. Decide on the right tech stack, tools, and plan to reach the DevOps vision. Lead and mentor the team of DevOps engineers. You will provide guidance, support, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to ensure the successful execution of DevOps initiatives. With the team, using agile methodologies: Manage and optimize the production, QA, and development environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of their software products. Design and implement robust monitoring systems that proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system failures. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency. Drive improvements to the platform and tooling used to deliver a reliable, secure, and performance platform. Automate and streamline CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust quick builds and deployments. Respond to incidents on mission-critical systems, ensuring the platform remains secure and highly available while minimizing client and market impact. Drive the adoption of new technologies within the business to help improve the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of the tools and platform they operate. Collaborate with the DevOps Lead of France, Australia, and Belgium to share knowledge and develop DevOps good practices that will be shared across the group. Experience Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team towards achieving goals. Proven experience in a DevOps/SRE or similar role, preferably in a software development or SaaS environment. Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud and Containerization technologies. Strong proficiency in Automation Scripting. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or equivalent products. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on driving solutions in a timely manner. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications such as Azure certifications, DevOps certifications, or industry-specific certifications are advantageous.
