Our service user is a lady in her 30s who lives with her loving family in Skipton. She has a rare condition known as Autoimmune Insulin Syndrome or Hirata's Disease, which leads to low blood sugar levels, and requires the dedicated care of an experienced Diabetes Nurse to support her overnight. Therefore, it is essential that you stay alert and responsive, monitoring her closely throughout the night and regularly checking her blood sugar levels to ensure they remain stable. She is a courageous lady who plays an active role in her care and enjoys helping others who have their own health conditions, this has previously been at large events and even the Houses of Parliament. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled Diabetes Nurse, who has knowledge and understanding of our service user's condition.
