Main Duties of the Job

As a key player in our Diabetes Specialist Nursing Service, you'll assess, plan, and implement tailored treatment plans for patients with diabetes, ensuring they receive top-notch care during their hospital stay. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the organisation and delivery of specialised education and training for fellow healthcare professionals and caregivers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and excellence in diabetes management. In this role, you'll work closely alongside Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and a stellar multidisciplinary team, playing an integral role in providing effective care for our inpatients. Current NMC registration First level degree Post basic qualification in diabetes or equivalent portfolio of evidence Recognised teaching qualification Desirable

Non-Medical prescribing or willingness to undertake Skill and Experience
