Wythenshawe Hospital, part of the Manchester Foundation Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic qualified plain film radiographer to join the team at our Withington/Wythenshawe sites. This is a new post to support the expansion of the Community Diagnostic Centre based at Withington hospital, although the successful candidate will be expected to rotate through all areas of plain film imaging on both sites.

We have moved to a shift-based system in September 2023 where all staff will work a standard 37.5 hour week with a minimum of 2 days off each week.

Main duties of the job To provide a diagnostic radiography service to patients attending Wythenshawe hospital for a wide range of examinations.

We have an excellent preceptorship and induction program and support your integration into the department.

This is an exciting time to join the team with new equipment for the Emergency department in a new build redesigned unit, an ever-growing interventional caseload in new hybrid theatres, complex CT scanning procedures alongside a busy plain film rotation.
