Our Diamond Centre Assistant will perform a variety of critical tasks to support the wider team. These tasks will cover the full spectrum of diamond processing - from initial intake through lab grading to outbound shipping. In this role you will interface with internal and external stakeholders and provide critical stock updates and performance analysis for the team. Key Responsibilities: Diamond processing and handling, including upload of inbound consignments, deliveries to manufacturers, and returns to suppliers, with full commitment to total accuracy at every stage. Diamond inventory management and analysis using SAP, Excel, PowerBI. Tracking and presentation of departmental performance and KPIs. Handling of Sarin scanning, check-weighing and associated data entry. Ensuring daily that systems accurately reflect stock levels and component movements. Assembling of ‘diamond kits’ according to specific manufacturing requirements (requires counting & bagging of melee diamonds). Managing the flow of goods through the labs, tracking results and updating grading certificate results. Ad hoc reporting (invoicing, quality control, supplier performance, etc.). Manage special stone photography. Oversee bi-annual stock counts & reconciliation work. Manage creative location stock: dismantles old layouts, weighs new layouts and ensures SAP and physical location are matching. Maintenance of shipment list, following up with team on outstanding memos/invoices and missing information (for example: country of origin or polish). Liaise with logistics team to track inbound diamond deliveries. Responsible for sharing weekly updates on loose diamond shipments to manufacturers with relevant product teams. Shares weekly reporting on stock in diamond team’s locations. Management & maintenance of HO melee stocks. Qualifications

A supply chain/process management background Experience in complex processes and operational optimization Knowledge of diamonds and jewellery supply chains is a plus Skilled in Excel and SAP Comfortable working quickly through complex processes Fully committed to total accuracy at every stage Comfortable with careful handling of high-value materials Problem-solver mindset Confident and able to work self-sufficiently with great attention to detail Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals Builds strong, personal, and effective working relationships Clear, concise communicator Self-motivated with a drive towards continual improvement Values a diverse, inclusive working environment in which everyone can work to their full potential Additional Information
