Responsibility for the design, testing and analysis of parts of the Diesel FiE system. Responsibility includes discussion with the customer (e.g. understanding of customer evaluation, presentation of results), component testing of injector pump and rail, analysis/judgement, discussion with HW design team and reporting to customer. DENSO is looking for an experienced design/component engineer with good theoretical knowledge and relevant powertrain experience, ideally with Diesel component experience. Specific Responsibilities:

Based at the Powertrain Engineering office in Coventry working in an open-plan office with access to laboratory, chassis dyno and engine test bed/rig facilities. Potential of travel to customer sites (with potentially extended visits) and occasional travel to other DENSO offices (including Japan). A training placement in DNJP may be required. Note: During the current COVID situation working from home will be expected and the applicant is expected to maintain drive/output/have suitable home working environment to support. Qualifications
