Opening: Diesel Mechanic
City:Kent, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
Family-run truck and trailer repair shop in Kent, WA. Well-established company is looking for a Diesel Mechanic for their team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As this team’s newest diesel mechanic,you will be working 2nd shift, typically from 2:00PM until 10:30PM (Monday – Friday). You will be performing general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components. You must have experience in most aspects of truck maintenance – gas and diesel preferred.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU: Compensation starts at $20-28/HR, DOE Annual reviews
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
The Musts: Detail Oriented Strong memory retention Process-oriented Good judgment Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Quick learner Flexible and adaptable to changes Proactive Must have experience in most aspects of truck maintenance. Limited knowledge to install injectors, pistons, clutches, brakes, motors, transmissions, rod and main bearings, oil pans, fan hubs, differentials, etc. Must have your own tools Must have a valid DL Positive attitude Strong team player Strong communication skills

I am born and raised in the Seattle area. I grew up in Kent and Tukwila and currently live in the Redmond/Bellevue area. I enjoy all sports and talking about sports whenever I can. My favorite sport is baseball, and I am a diehard Mariners fan regardless of my White Sox hat in my Opti photo. I have a 2-year-old goldendoodle named Murphy and I like to goof around with him in my free time and go to his favorite park and play fetch. I play some pick-up basketball, and recreational softball. Other than that, I really like watching movies. What I like about Opti is that I can be myself and work with an amazing group of people. I really enjoy the friendly competitiveness in the office and with the other offices. Working as a bartender for 15 years I dreamed of having a career in sales, and it is pretty darn awesome, plus I can help others find the career that they have always wanted too! Login
