Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively to shape and deliver excellent through-age dietetic services for people with eating disorders? We are seeking an eating disorders' dietitian with expert clinical knowledge, considerable multi-professional working experience, and well-developed leadership skills to join our multi-professional Eating Disorder team working across the 3 counties of Hywel Dda University Health Board. You will join a dynamic, person-centred and quality-driven service, working with our friendly and supportive nutrition and dietetic team.

Band 8A Dietetic Service Lead for Eating Disorders 22.5hrs/ week. The role base and working hours are negotiable.

Main duties of the job Strategically lead the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of through-age dietetic eating disorder services Health Board wide. Work as an integral member of the eating disorder multi-disciplinary senior leadership team, driving multi-professional prudent approaches, partnership working and evidence-based practice, to reduce the adverse impact of eating disorders, demonstrating improved outcomes for individuals, and the health and care system. Act as an expert through-age dietetic eating disorder clinician managing a complex clinical caseload, leading Health Board wide evidence-based eating disorder management, informing and leading planning, policy development, training and education, driving quality improvement, aligning services to National, Health Board and Professional strategy and guidance. Lead the dietetic eating disorder dietetic service, including line management duties, ensuring there is an effective leadership and governance structure.

Person Specification Qualifications and knowledge Essential HCPC registration with a degree in Dietetics Additional professional clinical knowledge and/or qualifications acquired through specialist training, qualification, or equivalent experience: willingness to work towards a Master's qualification Expert clinical knowledge of eating disorders including causes, consequences, management, prevention, and wider determinants Knowledge of, and ability to apply evidence-based methodology to support engagement, improvement, and service planning

Desirable Master's qualification relevant Qualified in recognised interventional programmes for patients with eating disorders Management / Leadership qualification Formal Motivational Interviewing qualification

Experience Essential Extensive clinical dietetic delivery in eating disorder services Significant experience of managing a complex, demanding workload using advanced clinical reasoning Substantial postgraduate experience in team leadership, and line management Multi-professional working Leading project/quality improvement/development work, with demonstrable outcomes Working at a strategic level, and of engaging and influencing Research/clinical audit and interpreting new evidence into practice Planning, delivering, and evaluating programmes of specialist education and training

Desirable Through-age eating disorder service delivery Leading national work, a professional network or specialist group Managing a delegated budget and resources

Other Essential Ability to travel to enable role delivery across the Health Board Flexible approach to meet the needs of the service
