Locum Dietitian - Care Home - St Albans - £30 to £35 Hourly

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Locum Dietitian to join our team at Fonthill House Care Home in the charming city of St Albans. This part-time role, covering 2 days a week (16 hours), offers the chance to earn between £30 and £35 hourly. Starting in April 2025, the contract is set for a duration of 12 months. What you will do: Deliver specialised, evidence-based dietetic services to individuals residing at Fonthill House. Provide personalised dietetic advice to contribute to the nutritional well-being of residents, supporting them in making informed health decisions. Autonomously manage and prioritise your clinical caseload, addressing various conditions such as malnutrition, frailty, and weight management. Conduct comprehensive dietetic assessments to diagnose nutritional issues, factoring in both analytical data and social-cultural needs. Establish therapeutic relationships with residents through effective communication, and adjust treatments to maximise dietetic intervention outcomes. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, GPs, and pharmacists to tailor nutritional supplements and monitor potential interactions. Offer expert advice to the Chef Team, ensuring menus meet nutritional guidelines and cater to individual health requirements. Regularly update nutritional care plans and liaise with external teams for seamless patient care transitions. In Fonthill House, your work will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for its residents, ensuring they receive leading nutritional care. Ensure you are HCPC registered to join our passionate team in delivering excellence in dietetics.
