This role comprises both the analysis of web data (to support data-driven decision-making), as well as the implementation of analytics platforms. Main Responsibilities: Measurement Planning

Creating and updating measurement strategy for web analytics data collection.

Auditing & Troubleshooting

Auditing Adobe Analytics configuration. Auditing Adobe Analytics reports and dashboards, amending existing dashboards and creating new dashboards where needed. Experience debugging analytics set-up and resulting tracking. Auditing and validating custom Adobe Analytics tracking. Auditing of tracking integration between third party platforms and Adobe Analytics e.g. optimisation platforms like Optimizely, live chat platforms.

Technical Implementation

Implementing configuration amends/enhancements to Adobe Analytics incl. but not limited to custom tracking additions (using Adobe's tag management system, Adobe Launch). Creating and configuring custom segments, calculated metrics and custom alerts within Adobe Analytics for business requirements.

Analysis & Insights Extraction

Managing large datasets from disperse sources, developing conclusions and presenting actionable recommendations. Conducting in-depth analysis of web analytics data, interpreting complex datasets and extracting actionable insights.

Interrogating and visualising data to drive insights and support strategic decision-making. Integration of multiple data sources into unified visualisation/exploratory platform (e.g. Power BI) including all the expected skills within this area i.e. Data preparation, Data analysis, Data modelling (TBC), Data visualisation. Working closely with internal teams and with the client’s teams to ensure outputs are aligned with client’s business objectives. The Ideal Candidate: Min. 1 year’s experience working in equivalent role is essential. Proven data interpretation and insights extraction experience, interpreting complex data into actionable insights. Proven experience in web analytics methodologies, tools, and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyse data. Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics essential. Proficiency in analytical approaches and visualisation platforms (e.g. SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio). Proven experience with tag management and debugging tools. Adobe Launch essential. Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing is beneficial. Maintaining strict QA and data governance processes and standards in order to deliver high data integrity. Demonstrated experience in gathering, cleansing, advanced segmenting, analysing and developing visual representations of data to help explore, understand and communicate data, and performing analytics for informed decision making. Experience working directly with clients, delivering agreed outputs and communicating key insights and recommended actions. What's in it for you?
