Knowledge

Knowledge, training and experience in ICT. Effective empathy and persuasive skills. Ability to negotiate. Ability to work with supplier contracts/costs. Advanced keyboard skills. Microsoft Office - advanced use. Ability to act and work flexibly and on own initiative. Ability to concentrate in stressful situations and when interrupted. Knowledge/appreciation of the ICT requirements of CCGs, GP IT and Acute Care. Experience/knowledge of: PRINCE2/ITIL. Data Protection Act. Freedom of Information Act. GMS Contract. GPSoC Contract. Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/experience. Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience

Managerial experience in ICT. Extensive ICT experience. Experience of communicating and explaining ICT issues. Experience of negotiating with suppliers. Experience of purchasing. Experience of managing projects. Experience of inter-organisational working. Organising and chairing meetings. Effective written and oral communication skills. Contractual

Ability to work flexibly, outside normal office hours, in order to suit the needs of the users. The ability to travel between NHIS sites. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
