Digital Commercial Underwriter - Salary circa £25,000

We have an exciting opportunity to join our SME Digital Trading Team as a Digital Commercial Underwriter! This role could be ideal if you're seeking a fantastic opportunity to build a career in insurance as an underwriter within a fast-paced dynamic team.
Full training will be provided, we are flexible with experience, but you will need to have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment - for example from a customer service, banking, insurance or contact centre background.
Training will be based onsite full time for up to 1 year.
A bit about the job:
The team is responsible for digital accounts covering both commercial motor and commercial business, along with building credible relationships with brokers. As the Digital Underwriter, you will be aligned to a portfolio of customers/brokers and be responsible for proactively developing our SME digital book of business. You will deliver excellent broker/customer experience and technical underwriting support in a fast-paced multi demand channel environment.

- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills. Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn with the ability to multitask.
- Computer Literate, comfortable navigating multiple systems.
- Excellent communication, listening and negotiating skills, and passionate about delivering brilliant customer service, to build and maintain positive relationships with brokers to drive business growth.
- Confident decision maker, with strong initiative and high-learning agility.
- Ability to work independently, within underwriting authority, handling more complex risks and experience working in a team environment, conferring where appropriate.

- Starting salary circa £25,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
