In this role, you will lead a team of Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters, championing Agile practices, fostering collaboration, and delivering value across all digital workstreams.
Location: Hybrid, with 2 days at home and 3 days in our Shirebrook HQ.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Coach and empower Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to proactively manage their workstreams and adopt best practices across all digital projects. Delivery Oversight: Own the reporting of work progress, timelines, and relevant metrics to create visibility and drive informed decision-making. Collaboration: Partner with Product teams to ensure timelines for prioritised initiatives are realistic and clearly communicated. Resource Planning: Oversee cross-team resource planning, supporting Squad Leads and their squads in delivering commitments effectively, and escalating risks before they become blockers. Agile Champion: Drive the pragmatic adoption and evolution of Agile practices, tailoring approaches to fit the unique needs of a fast-paced, evolving organization. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the Digital department to triage issues, communicate dependencies and blockers, and align priorities with business outcomes. Governance and Process Improvement: Develop and refine processes and templates that standardize and streamline delivery, ensuring they work within a lean structure and support rapid time-to-market. Risk Management: Identify and resolve delivery challenges to align workstreams with timelines and business objectives. Benefits:

Proven Leadership: 8+ years of experience in Delivery Management, including at least 2 years in a lead role, with a track record of driving successful digital projects. Stakeholder Management: Skilled in aligning and managing diverse stakeholders' expectations while focusing on delivery goals. Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic environment. Strategic Oversight: Strong knowledge of delivery lifecycle processes, controls, strategies, and methods, with the ability to plan and coordinate cross-team initiatives. Technical Awareness: Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation. Proactive Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve issues that may impede project progress. Collaboration and Influence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to coach teams and bring stakeholders along on the journey. Desirable:
Experience in the eCommerce/Retail industry. Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, CSM) or Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
