Job summary We are seeking to appoint to the newly introduced role of Digital Education and Reporting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the role and strategically lead the cross-functional design, development and launch of innovative features and improvements that enhance the learning experience, streamline administrative processes, and support instructional design. The Digital Education and Reporting Manager will be integral to leading the digital transformation of education, driving innovation in learning technologies, and ensuring robust reporting systems that enable efficient workforce planning and compliance, ultimately improving patient care and operational efficiency. The recruitment process for this post will take place at Doncaster Royal Infirmary across two days. The successfully shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend either 4th & 5th February 2025. Main duties of the job To provide senior leadership for Education digital learning and technology solutions, digital learning management and reporting systems. Develop and embed a quality driven, robust and effective Education and Training digital transformation plan for DBTH. Lead an evolving and sustainable Education Digital Transformation Plan and portfolio of work which supports our organisational digital learning priorities. Work strategically with key stakeholders to identify the best uses of digital learning technology, platforms, systems and reporting to improve the experience of colleagues and learners. Provide leadership and direction to learning and development specialists, support colleagues, learners and work in consultation with wider divisional areas in responding to organisational learning and development needs. Act as the point of contact for all digital learning and systems workstreams, contributing to innovation that influences change and advancement of our digital learning, learning management and reporting systems. Knowledge and Experience Essential Proven track record in effective implementation and continuous improvement of learning management/reporting systems and digital learning/technology solutions which have tangible benefits for the organisation. Experience of successful organisational, planning and development of digital solutions for education/training. Extensive experience in the delivery of complex work change projects, incorporating multiple inputs and stakeholders with fluctuating and competing priorities. Substantial leadership/management experience. Extensive evidenced experience of working collaboratively with external stakeholders and across organisational boundaries. Qualifications/Training Essential Relevant study to Masters degree or equivalent level/experience. Personal Attributes & Skills Essential A critically enquiring mind and the ability to undertake wide-ranging research of current and emerging theories and practices in the use of technology in education and training. Excellent analytical, negotiation and numerical skills. Advanced digital competence including the use of MS office in the business/education environment (including excel, powerBI, planner, teams). Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal, written, formal and informal. Effective & strategic influencing - able and prepared to adopt a range of ways to gain support and influence diverse parties.
