As Digital Executive, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the O2 Academy Venues app. The app supports iconic Academy Music Group venues across the UK including O2 Academy Brixton, O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, O2 Forum Kentish Town, O2 Academy Birmingham, O2 City Hall Newcastle, O2 Academy Leeds, O2 Academy Glasgow and more.

Sitting within the Digital team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user engagement, retention, and acquisition through innovative app management strategies. You will have a strong focus on data-driven marketing, collaboration, and delivering an outstanding user experience that aligns with the wider marketing strategy.

You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative department where teamwork is at the core of everything we do. You will be part of a core part of the marketing team, contributing to high-quality output and driving the evolution of our app.

About You

Experience in app or CRM management, ideally within music, entertainment, or e-commerce Hands-on experience in delivering push notifications or executing data-driven CRM strategy Passionate about creating seamless digital experiences Analytical mindset to assess and improve in-app performance and the ability to make decisions based on data Excellent data handling and the ability to create digestible reports for the wider department A strong communicator Excellent attention to detail whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously Understanding of GDPR compliance and data protection practices A strong understanding of music genres, artists, and audience segmentation

What We Need Someone who lives and breathes live music Data-driven thinking Creative problem solving Proactive, can-do attitude with a positive work ethic Willingness to work as part of a larger team and build positive working relationships both internally and externally A diligent and proactive organiser Sharp analytical reporting and presenting Flexibility to work irregular hours if required (weekends/evenings/public holidays)

What the role includes Managing the daily operations of the O2 Academy Venues app, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy of listing information Managing relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders to implement features and information to support business needs Troubleshooting technical issues and addressing these with external developers Collaborate with the CRM team and wider Marketing team to implement campaigns that enhance user engagement, loyalty, and conversion Working closely with the Partnerships team to activate partner campaigns across all venues Develop and execute plans for app-specific content and features that meet commercial and consumer needs Working with Ticketing partners to improve ticket purchasing experience in-app Analyse app usage data and fan behaviour, providing actionable insights for optimization. Reporting on this weekly, monthly, and quarterly Pitching and implementing creative concepts to keep users retained through gamification, loyalty, and creative content
