The role: Administrative Assistant (Band 2 - FTC up to 12 months) The Department: Digital Health Records Are you: Positive? Reliable? IT literate? Motivated to support the NHS? As an Administrative Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the management and flow of Health Records to provide outstanding service to all specialty departments and patients. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and wish to be part of a team striving to make a difference and have the opportunity to develop your skills, and you can answer "yes" to the above, then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate would need excellent administration and communication skills and the ability to remain calm in an extremely busy office environment. A good working knowledge of Digital Systems is desirable, but a flexible approach set against a fast-moving environment is essential. Main duties of the job

Qualifications

Ability to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systems GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths Experience

Evidence of substantial clerical experience, especially in relation to filing systems Experience and understanding of a Patient Administration System (PAS) Experience of an electronic Health Records tracking system Experience of an Electronic Document Management (EDM) System Skills

Ability to undertake additional training on departmental IT and manual systems Experience using MS Office Experience using multiple different IT Systems Disclosure and Barring Service Check
