You will work at a strategic level to influence, and contribute to the overarching Digital direction. Job Description In this role you will: Maintain and develop design principles, policy and standards, authoring sub-strategy and related documentation. Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them to make decisions based on risk and complexity. Turn business problems into technical design. Design systems characterised by medium levels of risk, impact and business or technical complexity. Works across multiple services or a single large or complicated service. Leadership As a leader in Defence you will help shape, role model and bring to life the ‘One Defence’ mindset that will enable us to deliver our vision and strategic objectives. Your leadership style must be inspiring, confident and empowering. Person specification About You You will be an established architect working within ITIL and having TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board). You will be an effective communicator, problem solver and leader. You will have worked within a governance/assurance role. You will have experience in writing architectural strategy, policy, processes as well as writing and reviewing technical design documentation. Important Information Our work in defence, security and intelligence requires our employees to be UK Nationals who are able to gain a high level of security clearance to undertake the projects we are involved in to protect us from security threats.
