What we are looking for We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join our creative and vibrant Marketing Campaigns team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will support all commercial areas of the business from racedays to hospitality, memberships to partnerships. You will be responsible for building and sending e-mail communications across key commercial areas, supporting the delivery of digital marketing campaigns, managing website updates, and providing creative and strategic input to improve our customer journeys. You will be analytical, creative, and have a high attention to detail, with a passion for creating compelling digital communications and a strong interest in consumer marketing. What you’ll be doing Building regular email and SMS communications, sourcing necessary content from across the Marketing team and configuring the assets in our email marketing software (currently DotDigital). Managing content across our website and app, sourcing copy and imagery and uploading through our CMS system, ensuring all pages are accurate, compelling, and up to date. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and implement a robust organic search (SEO) strategy across our key digital platforms. Supporting the advancement of Ascot’s data plans, including contributing to Ascot’s audience growth strategy and taking an active role in analysis and segmentation of Ascot’s owned audiences. Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager on the execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across paid social, paid search, and display channels. Supporting analytics and reporting, creating high-quality insights to share with the marketing team and business stakeholders. Acting as a brand guardian at all times, ensuring that our digital channels reflect both our aesthetic and narrative standards. Skills and experience you can bring Experience in using both email marketing platforms and website CMS preferred. Experience in using a customer data platform advantageous. An interest and understanding of digital marketing platforms and technologies essential. Understanding and enthusiasm for the principles of marketing communications and brand management essential. Ability to use data and customer insights to advise digital activity. An analytical mindset and high level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Confidence in interpersonal communications and stakeholder management. A proactive approach to working in a busy, collaborative team. Working knowledge of and an interest in horse racing or sport is desirable but not essential.
