We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Online / Digital Marketing Manager to join our client’s children’s charity based in Keele. A full job specification will be provided on application.

About the role The role of Online / Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the website along with all our digital marketing activity. You will work closely with teams across the Charity to deliver activity across PPC, search engine optimisation, social networks, the website and other online channels ensuring user’s needs are your primary focus. As well as driving quality traffic, the post holder will be responsible for content and the ongoing user experience on the website.

Analytics will also play a key role in the day to day activity, along with reporting on all their marketing channels, evaluating performance and ensuring the charity is listening to their intelligence is of vital importance.

About the Responsibilities As Online / Digital Marketing Manager, you will: Plan, deliver and manage all of the digital marketing activity Plan, project manage and support the build of a new website for the charity Ensure the web content is vibrant and engaging and the traffic driven there is relevant and conversion rates are high Improve the website’s navigation, user experience and accessibility for the general public. Act as the expert user of WordPress ensuring all functions are used to their full potential Responsible for ongoing web security process Analyse data and interpret trends to improve digital campaign performance Monitor and prepare digital and online marketing analytics for monthly Board reports Leading the digital marketing operations including programmes, budgets and revenue targets Continually improve the visibility of content by ensuring it is optimised for search Oversee and implement the charity’s PPC ad campaigns, SEO and CRO Create and implement digital marketing fundraising campaigns Provide consultancy and support to teams across the charity Implement digital marketing activity across search, display, video and social media channels ensuring a cohesive, integrated approach Create inspiring, rich and compelling user-led content for the website that helps audiences reach their goals as effectively as possible Build dashboards that report on the website traffic, engagement and conversion rates Benchmark our website against other relevant charities and non-charities Understand and track the key search terms associated with our charity Aim for Google page 1 search results

About You To be successful for the role of Online / Digital Marketing Manager, you will have / be: Educated to Degree level or equivalent Relevant digital marketing training or qualifications 3-5 years’ experience operating at managerial level and leading on digital strategies Creating & implementing effective digital income campaigns – able to demonstrate you have been responsible for increasing revenue and profitability via a multi-channel CRM strategy across email, push notification, SMS, direct mail, paid media, and content development Knowledge of new and emerging technologies and trends in the digital space A real passion for digital and fundraising and be seen as an enabler across the business A confident presenter with experience of giving presentations to colleagues at all levels Excellent web copywriting skills Enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude.

Essential skills and experience required Working in a similar role across a family of digital platforms in a corporate setting Operating strategically across B2B and B2C channels, with strong CRM channel experience Building and growing digital strategies with evidence of having started at least one corporate or organisation on their digital journey Managing web content and building websites Planning, setup and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. Using Google AdWords (search, video and display) Implementing paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram platforms

About the rewards In the role of Online / Digital Marketing Manager, you will work 37.5 hours per week and there is a salary on offer of c£40,000 to £45,000 package per annum, depending on experience.

The Charity is committed to safeguarding children and young people and therefore adopts a safer recruitment approach through a robust recruitment and selection process. All posts within the Charity are subject to DBS checks, in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). This role is eligible for an Enhanced with barred lists DBS check.
