Personnel Selection are recruiting for a Digital Print Machine and Cutting Operative to join one of our clients existing and friendly teams. You will be based within Andover Hampshire. Working a 38.5 hour week, Monday to Friday day shift hours. Early finish at Midday on Fridays. Our client is a very professional and ethical company that fully values their staff members.
Experience required:
Manufacturing background in machining, ideally from a print background.
Confident with computer systems, ideally knowledge of graphics / ripping software.
Ability to read drawings and diagrams.
Able to work to stick guidelines and tolerances.
Flexible and resourceful attitude.
Good eye for details and colours.
Awareness of health and safety within the workplace.
A steady reliable loyal work history.
Main Duties
Ripping digital files created by the engineers.
Stepping jobs accurately onto the print bed.
Handling and loading delicate thin film onto print bed.
Loading screen-printed materials accurately for secondary digital print & vice versa.
Routine Machine Maintenance.
Organise jobs methodically to run as efficiently with less wastage as possible.
Operation of various machines within the digital print facility.
Printing on large format UV Inkjet machines.
Operating a Digital XY Cutting Machine.
Use of digital verniers and cutters.
