We are looking for a committed and motivated Digital Trainer to work as part of our team delivering a high-quality IT service for our organisation ensuring Wandle services meet business needs and support strategic objectives. We are looking for someone who will train, share ideas and knowledge and support to develop Wandle colleagues. As Digital Trainer, you will take responsibility for the development of all training materials, course design and delivery. The role will be varied, delivering organisation training projects by supporting the implementation of new technologies including support with testing, supporting users with the training of existing systems, inducting staff into the business and developing super users in all our departments. Supporting with testing and writing user test cases. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to further develop both technical and soft skills, with exposure to a wide variety of enterprise technologies. A day in the life: The ideal candidate will work in the Digital, IT and Data Services team and will work closely with Learning and Development to deliver the organisation-wide Digital Systems training with a core focus on

Microsoft Dynamics . This is a rewarding and exciting position, responsible for developing and training Wandle colleagues and creating super users in our teams. You will design and deliver high-quality blended training using a variety of tools and delivery methods, particularly the development of video, virtual, eLearning, in-person, and remote learning solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering training to different audiences, using different learning methods and techniques with the ability to understand emerging and bespoke systems. You will have experience of all stages of development from design to delivery. You will: Lead on IT Systems training (Microsoft Dynamics) ensuring that new and existing Wandle colleagues get the most out of technology. Manage the ServiceDesk knowledgebase, creating new and existing solutions. Take the lead on training for system implementation and system upgrades. Develop a set of local super users (advanced users) in each team. Provide timely and accurate completion and evaluation reports and utilise data to improve learning interventions. Manage the training administration of L&D activities and record attendance. Train users in key business applications such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics, Document Management, Record keeping, Purchasing systems, Asset Management, Repairs and Housing systems. Be part of the project team for system implementation and upgrades for training users and creating training, testing, and user guides so staff can work effectively. Provide training in groups and one-on-one as required. Manage day-to-day IT training enquiries, supporting the delivery of our ServiceDesk targets and KPI’s. Act as a site administrator of the Learning Management System assisting the L&D Adviser to maintain records. Build good working relationships with all stakeholders in the business. Consult with Learning and Development and Corporate Service colleagues on the training requirements and target trainees and the design of appropriate courses and materials to meet those needs. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the ServiceDesk and Application Support teams. Liaise with external organisations as required, maintaining good working relationships whilst ensuring customer needs are met. Work with other teams to ensure change is transitioned into business as usual. Provide a comprehensive and proactive customer-focused service. Capture ideas and feedback from staff and feed back into the IT team to continuously improve our ways of working. Keep abreast of applications best practice, leading technologies, and L&D trends. Key Competencies for the role: Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft 365 training experience. Knowledge of training users on a wide range of Business Applications. Knowledge of IT legislation, including software licensing, Computer Misuse Act, Investigatory Powers Act, General Data Protection Regulation. What you’ll need: Experience delivering high-quality IT systems training both remotely and onsite. Background in designing training programmes and a wide range of training materials. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work. Excellent customer service skills. You will have worked in a project team training users and creating user documentation. You are comfortable delivering training to a wide audience and on a one-on-one basis. Be a quick learner so that you can train colleagues in the use of bespoke business applications.
