The Deputy Loss of Entitlement (LOE) Manager is responsible for ensuring the LOE Team adhere and conform with all agreed DIO processes and operating procedures and undertake the delivery of the loss of entitlement to Service Family Accommodation (SFA) in accordance with the Tri-Service Accommodation Regulations

Check Briefing Notes for accuracy, ensuring additional information is clearly recorded to prevent additional charges.
  • Ensure all NTV paperwork is correctly addressed, and the correct length of notice has been provided.
  • Ensure charges are correctly calculated.
  • Ensure call forwards are being completed.
  • Checks are run on a team member each month to ensure that.
  • All files in Stage 3 are being moved on in a timely manner.
  • Reports 406 & 200 are being run and actioned.
  • Older cases in the legal spreadsheet are being progressed.
  • Debt is being managed by higher debtors being made a priority.
  • Take receipt of bills from solicitors. Add costs involved to the correct line on the legal spreadsheet. In CP&F upload the details and forward on for payment. Liaise with both commercial and finance team to ascertain the correct information for payment.
  • Review cases for progression to:
  • Legal action
  • Eviction
  • Analyse the information provided when reviewing 100% of the Proportionality Exercise forms. Ensure that the BES 078a report, E1132 Application report and a financial statement is included in all potential stay of legal action requests.
  • Review and maintain notes on CR to provide a clear record of events and actions for all cases, which can be used in any disputed cases.
  • Check regular payments are being made and investigate any cases exceeding 3 months or arrears.
  • Assist the team, when required with regards to issuing of Notice to Quits (NTQ) with regards to Pinnacle Sublet Team and the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP).

    Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance.
