The Directorate is comprised of the University's senior management (Vice-Chancellor’s Executive) and related support teams, including Strategic Planning, Legal Services, and the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. The Role
The main purpose of this role is to work within the Directorate Administrative Office to provide administrative support to the Head of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor; Deputy Clerk to the Board; Executive Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and University Secretary; and the Clerk to Academic Board. This role will contribute towards the provision of an effective, efficient, and professional quality administrative service within the Directorate Office, working within the University’s processes, procedures, and guidelines. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly good written and spoken English, and the ability to relate to staff at all levels of the University. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as is executive support experience. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are required. Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential. Interviews are expected to be held on Friday, 14th February 2025.
