Due to continued business growth, we are increasing the size of our Direct Sales team and looking to add an additional three members to the team. The positions will be based at our head office in Ryton-on-Dunsmore with a flexible hybrid working approach (a mix of office base and remote working). As the Direct Sales Executive, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers providing general account management expertise, holding review meetings, monitoring service performance and ensuring the customers are satisfied and contractual requirements are met. The other half of the role is to successfully win new business and achieve your monthly New Business target. This will be achieved through generating leads for new business opportunities within the SME business sector, validating the leads to ensure time invested only on credible and true leads resulting in business wins. To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience gained within a core sales environment and naturally find motivation in achieving sales targets. The ability to communicate, engage and interpret the needs of the customer will be extremely beneficial, particularly when assessing the validity of a potential lead and if it is worth investing time and resources in pursuing and winning the business. Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include the following: Market mapping activities to identify potential new business opportunities, who the decision makers are and what the requirements will be enabling efficient and informed decision making ensuring only true leads are pursued. Be a product expert, answering customer questions relating to the product specifications and pricing. Confidently explain and negotiate our commercial offering. Accurately and efficiently collate and record customer information into our CRM tool. Consistently onboard new clients through maintaining a pipeline of prospect customers. Organise and hold meetings with customers to proactively drive sales. Maintain an excellent working knowledge of all DHL products and services sold and keeps current on industry developments. What are the requirements? Previous experience gained within a sales position/environment. Results-focused, motivated by meeting targets and achieving high performance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work with data provided and utilise this to make informed decisions and to identify potential business leads.
