The Role Wessex Internet is excited to offer a rare opportunity for a driven and accomplished individual to take on the role of

Direct Sales Team Leader

within our high-performing Direct Sales team. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving success by managing a team of Direct Sales Agents while leading by example as a high-performing Direct Sales professional.

In this hybrid role, you will balance personal sales excellence with inspirational leadership, empowering your team to consistently achieve and exceed company targets. Your energy, expertise, and guidance will be essential in fostering a dynamic, high-energy sales culture that thrives on collaboration and results.

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll oversee the team’s performance, provide ongoing coaching and support, and ensure targets are consistently met while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities Leadership & Development:

Manage and inspire a team of sales professionals, creating a high-performance environment focused on achieving and exceeding targets. Coaching & Growth:

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and structured development opportunities to enhance the skills and effectiveness of your team. Door-to-Door Sales Expertise:

Lead by example in conducting ethical and professional door-to-door sales. Equip your team with the skills to approach potential customers with integrity and confidence, building trust and rapport during every interaction. Clearly communicate Wessex Internet's unique value proposition, ensuring prospects understand the benefits of our broadband and VoIP products. (No prior knowledge needed as training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with a growth mindset & eagerness to learn) Train the team to actively listen to customers' needs, providing tailored solutions that align with their requirements. Area Allocation & Strategy:

Organise and assign sales territories, ensuring optimal coverage and fair workload distribution. Support your team in strategically engaging communities as Wessex Internet expands into new areas, informing them about our presence and offerings. Sales Process Ownership:

Represent the direct sales team in internal discussions, ensuring alignment between sales goals and operational needs. Salesforce Utilisation:

Take responsibility for writing and refining tickets for the data and development teams to enhance the Salesforce field sales app, improving efficiency and effectiveness in tracking leads. Insights & Reporting:

Regularly track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), offering actionable insights to improve individual and team outcomes. Process Optimisation:

Identify inefficiencies in the sales process, proactively implement strategies to enhance productivity, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Collaborative Growth:

Work closely with the Head of Sales to align team objectives with broader business strategies, driving the overall success of the company.

£32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience + Car allowance OTE:
