What you’ll achieve: The Director of Architecture at Outseer is responsible for leading a team of architects to ensure the architectural integrity, performance, and scalability of Outseer's software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional people management skills, and a deep understanding of the Fraud Industry. The Director of Architecture will lead the team in balancing strategic business objectives with solid architectural frameworks, while fostering a culture of accountability and extreme ownership within the team. In this role, the Director of Architecture will play a pivotal part in advancing Outseer’s technological capabilities, positioning the company for continued success in the rapidly evolving fraud prevention landscape. You will be responsible for championing high-availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery practices across the product portfolio. Lead a team of architects responsible for multiple products, including fraud detection platforms, data analytics, and security solutions. Adhering to a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation. Define and drive the architecture and technology roadmap to support scalability and evolving business needs. Oversee architectural decisions across Outseer’s product portfolio, ensuring long-term scalability, performance, and resilience. Develop and communicate a clear architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives, driving continuous innovation and technical leadership. Drive the migration path for existing customers to the next-generation platform, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption. Create and maintain the security architecture practices, especially when handling sensitive financial and fraud-related data. Establish and manage architectural governance (architecture review board), ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure architectural decisions meet product goals, customer needs, and operational efficiency. Deliver executive presentations, both internally and externally, to communicate architectural strategies and progress effectively. Create a future state architectural vision and ensure its alignment to business and product strategy. Design and implement microservices architectures to enhance modularity, maintainability, and ease of scaling. Oversee API strategy and ensure seamless integrations with external systems and partners, keeping pace with evolving fraud landscapes. Desired Requirements Bachelor’s degree required / MBA preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills at both executive and technical levels. 12+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise cloud software. Deep knowledge of cloud service providers, such as Azure, AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Minimum 5+ years of direct team/department leadership experience. 5+ years of experience with high-performance transaction data systems. 5+ years of experience with high-performance data analytics. Experience with data streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka. Experience with distributed systems and highly scalable architectures. Expertise in Cloud Native technologies, including Kubernetes and Containers. Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android development environments. Knowledge of SQL (Oracle experience is a plus). Familiarity with UX design methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus.
