The Director, Azure Cloud Consumption will be responsible for evaluating, modelling, forecasting, monitoring and reporting on cloud consumption. This individual will work across all aspects of cloud consumption generating activities in the LSEG Microsoft Partnership (LMP) – covering Foundation+, Strategic Initiatives and any further opportunities that arise across the contract timeframe. Key Responsibilities: Ownership of consumption evaluation, modelling and reporting Evaluate and forecast cloud consumption and report to senior stakeholders on progress, risks and opportunities. Model cloud consumption including scenario and sensitivity analysis – to inform decision making, insights, and identify gaps and trends. Optimise cloud consumption models across product development and technology application migration. Track and validate actual delivery performance to ensure assumptions are in sync with the product build and migration timelines. Drive greater transparency across delivery teams to inform reporting and improve root cause analysis – and make recommendations for improvements. To inform output, analyse and consolidate information from multiple systems and partner with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance (including the existing Cloud FinOps function), Commercial, Risk, PMO, Procurement, Sales and Legal. Effectively engage with Microsoft on cloud consumption initiatives including management of any risks and issues. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Azure Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret usage data and analytics to make informed recommendations and track actions associated to the recommendations Modelling Skills: Experience of creating sophisticated, long term cloud consumption models – from a delivery, product, customer, technology and financial perspective. Excellent Communication Skills: both verbal and written Problem-Solving Skills: Curiosity about identifying issues and providing effective solutions.
