Hobson Prior is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and manage clinical studies. The successful candidate will work closely with the clinical development team to ensure trials are conducted smoothly and meet all necessary guidelines and regulations. This role will involve coordinating with various partners and developing strategies to enhance recruitment and trial execution.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage clinical trials from start to finish.
Work with teams to choose the best locations for trials.
Ensure local insights are included in trial plans for effective execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet study goals.
Manage budgets and contracts with vendors.
Monitor and report on trial progress.
Identify and address any risks in trial operations.
Build relationships with key experts and trial sites.
Provide expertise in trial documentation and execution.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Communicate regularly with various departments.
Participate in selecting and managing external partners.
Attend meetings to ensure study objectives are met.
Contribute to improving clinical operations processes.
Mentor and guide team members.
Develop strategic relationships to enhance trial access.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Experience in leading clinical trials, especially in eye-related treatments.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Knowledge of clinical development and regulatory standards.
Experience managing both in-house and outsourced operations.
Skilled in budgeting and financial reporting.
Ability to work well with different stakeholders.
Proven experience in managing trial sites, particularly in ophthalmology.
Leadership experience in managing teams and resources.
