What You’ll Do: Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align technology strategies, focusing on cybersecurity, AI, and governance. Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, innovative technology solutions aligned with business goals. Lead lifecycle management for commercial data and applications. Oversee the implementation and management of commercial systems, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation. Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes through performance analysis and optimization. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and expenses for commercial IT initiatives. Provide user training, support, and education to enhance technical competencies. Develop and monitor KPIs for technology return on investment and value generation. What You’ll Bring: Startup mentality with a sense of urgency and dedication to impactful results. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. 7+ years of relevant experience (pharmaceutical experience preferred) and 5+ years managing direct reports and/or external resources. Proven success with cloud-based commercial applications (CRM, data warehousing; Veeva preferred) and expertise in IT service delivery models and regulatory compliance. Strong project management skills with demonstrated business acumen and communication abilities. Passion for innovation, cybersecurity (NIST), and emerging technologies like AI. Flexibility to travel as needed. While we embrace remote work, we’re seeking candidates in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area to attend key in-office meetings, training, and activities.
