The role Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, the Head of Corporate Real Estate & Facilities will be responsible for the Corporate Real Estate and the Facilities Management department within the Kindred Group. By having one department that is responsible for the Real Estate portfolio and Facilities Management services, the group will achieve financial control of our office assets, budgets, establishments, rebuilds, and decommissioning of offices, as well as maintain a leveled and balanced service offer to support our employees across the group. What you will do Corporate Real Estate

Be overall responsible for Kindred's office portfolio which includes; Lead, or be involved, in acquisition of new and existing facilities/offices. Manage lease obligations and advise Kindred on actions regarding leased facilities. This includes monitoring and pro-actively managing lease amendments, extensions, and break clauses. Maintain an up-to-date database for all leased and owned facilities. Support with drafting/negotiate the business terms and legal documentation for matters affecting company properties/office spaces which we are leasing. Be responsible for fit-out/refurbish projects for new and existing offices. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide recommendations on enterprise footprint connected to the business strategy. Provide support to the Executive and Senior leaders when it comes to Corporate Real Estate questions. Quality assure buildings and standards. Facilities Management

Provide leadership and direction to local teams as well as overarching strategic management and oversight of all facilities related operations for the group. Ensure the appropriate processes, policies, and guidelines are in place and regularly reviewed to continually enhance the service provided by the different teams reporting to you. Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the company to ensure all operational service lines are meeting, and where possible, exceeding business requirements. Monitor and manage performance of direct reports to ensure excellence in service delivery and identify any training needs within the team. In conjunction with the Procurement team, oversee vendor selection processes, manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring delivery schedules, quantity, and quality criteria are met with agreed SLAs. Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the group's facilities are compliant with relevant internal policies and applicable regulatory and legal requirements. Ensure that Facilities Managers are pro-actively managing seating and space planning to create maximum efficiency whilst ensuring adherence to group standards. Along with the project teams, coordinate office moves, the set-up of new offices, and re-shuffling of existing offices. Develop annual operating budgets for the facilities management department and implement effective cost management to achieve budgets. Ensure compliance related to Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management across the group. Quality assure our facilities management services by auditing the sites for Soft Services, Hard Services, Physical Security, and overall compliance. Keeping Kindred Compliant

Be a compliance ambassador and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) leader within Kindred Group. Accountable for the specific compliance obligations related to corporate real estate and facilities management, as detailed in the Kindred Compliance Framework (KCF). Ensure that you and your team adhere to the Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) obligations within your direct responsibility and control. As a subject matter expert, you are accountable for the compliance risk in your area and will decide on mitigation/risk acceptance, up to a pre-agreed level, as defined in the Kindred Compliance Framework (KCF). Beneficial if professional membership of the BIFM, IFMA, or equivalent professional Facilities Management Association. Working experience of health and safety management. Well-versed in vendor management, contract management, and budget control. Experienced in targeting a high standard of service for a customer-facing environment. Knowledge and understanding of managing a flexible working environment. Experience of working with estates operational issues. Experience in a large cost centre/budget responsibility. Experience of both hard and soft services essential. The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects coupled with strong analytical skills. A service-oriented, hands-on team leader with strong vision on the future of facilities management service. Experience in managing a multi-office portfolio globally. Deliver a high standard of workplace experience to an organization. Managing teams globally. Managing budgets globally. Understand strategic alignment between a global office portfolio, services, and ways of working. Strong change management skills. Project management skills for small projects but also larger office establishments.
