If you have experience writing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies and would like to work on varied projects spanning residential, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors, then this is the role for you!

This exciting opportunity will focus on flood risk, drainage, and civil engineering design for low and high-rise residential blocks and social housing, universities, hospitals, and schools. You will manage a bespoke team as a Director and complete flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and detailed designs using Microdrain for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, and Housing Developers.

Applicants will also be supported to complete and check the following:

Flood Risk Assessments. Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies. Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewer Design using Causeway Flow and Microdrain for S104 and S106. Project management and liaising with Clients. Team mentoring and management.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications, Drainage Strategies, and drainage design using Microdrain or Causeway Flow.

Applicants are expected to have project management and team management experience.

It is beneficial for candidates to live near Liverpool as you will be required in the office for 2/3 days a week.
