Director of Global Data Center (GDC) Transformation (m/f/d)

reports directly to the Vice President, GDC Transformation. This role will orchestrate strategic and complex functional development throughout four regions and spearhead GDC integration and transformation efforts to unify operations across America (AMER), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe/Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and India. The successful candidate will help bring strategy to execution through the structuring of governance, process, technology, and analytics with partnership around change management and adoption. This role also serves as the central transformation point of contact for the GDC Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Recognized as an influential leader, they will drive operational rhythm of business, cross-functional alignment, and set the business agenda for the Transformation Management Office (TMO). This is a full time hybrid permanent position. What you will do Leads development activities of GDC regional and functional transformation strategy to determine future organization structure, roles and responsibilities, governance and process flows; ensures DC portfolio is balanced against corporate fiscal guidance. Aligns closely with the VP of Transformation to engage GDC leadership, functional leaders, cross-functional stakeholders through executive communications and presentations. Responsible for the rhythm of business for the Transformation Management Office - facilitates the "Transformation Lifecycle" of Envisioning, Discovery, Definition, Implementation and Measurement for transformational initiatives. Captures and disseminates key points and follow ups from strategy discussions, functional reviews, and maintains rolling action items while balancing short-term improvement and long-term value. Drives execution of key short- and mid-term transformation initiatives on behalf of the VP of Transformation including, but not limited to: initial discovery, GDC functional development, cross-functional processes, business pivots and change initiatives, and communications planning. Accountable for organization-wide GDC objectives, key results (OKRs) and performance metrics to measure strategic alignment and the effectiveness of transformation efforts in the short-, mid- and long-term. Develops new methods to solve company-wide matters. Delivers data-driven strategic advice, research and thought leadership on operationalizing value drivers for the GDC transformation including strategic objectives and goals, organic and third-party capital managed as a portfolio client experience and operational efficiencies gained. Responds to time-sensitive project request deliverables, for senior executive and shareholder audiences at NTT DATA Inc., NTT Holdings and other NTT organizations. Responsible for setting the tone, challenging current wisdom on value creation, and sustaining transformation efforts over the longer-term. Works with internal and external executive level management on extremely critical transformation matters. Partners with executive leadership team for the function to provide cohesive direction towards company goals. Recognized as an influential leader. What we are looking for MBA, Masters degree, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional transformational initiatives, change, or business integration within large, complex, and high growth organizations, preferably globally across two distinct regions (minimum). Demonstrated years in architecting, refining, and structuring transformations, portfolios, and/or large complex programs through the use of industry standard technologies and enabling through BI and analytics. Demonstrated experience structuring, and managing OKRs at the enterprise level. Demonstrated experience with tier-one data centers or hyperscale providers. Excellent computer skills to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills in problem solving, strategic mindset, and critical thinking skills, preferably from a top consulting firm or strategy organization. Excellent Project and Program Portfolio Management skills. Significant knowledge and comfort in leading and influencing without authority. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 33% domestically and internationally. Willingness to perform work during US and Global business hours and time zones.
