This is an exciting opportunity to join a large dynamic global technology company in a senior tax role reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax. Arm designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products, from wireless, networking and consumer entertainment solutions to imaging, automotive, security and storage devices. Following a successful IPO on NASDAQ in September 2023, the tax reporting requirements of the Arm Group have increased significantly and Arm’s Tax function is now seeking an experienced Tax Reporting Director to take the lead on this key workstream. The group has grown significantly in recent years with revenues for the FY23 financial year of $3.2bn and generating underlying profits after tax of $306mn. The group employs over 7,000 people worldwide and has operations in several countries, most notable UK, US, India, France, Norway, Sweden, Israel, Germany, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. We are looking for an experienced Tax reporting director, who enjoys working collaboratively with tax and finance colleagues, in the UK and overseas, and external auditors. Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting : Working with the central Finance team, the operational businesses, advisers and auditors to quickly and accurately report tax-related financials in relation to quarterly and full-year external reporting requirements. Supporting tax aspects of internal forecasting and budgeting. Take the lead on establishing Pillar 2 compliance and reporting, working with parent company's advisers and preparing disclosure for tax reporting. Risk Management : Overall management of tax risk across the group, including tax risk reporting, compliance monitoring, implementation and monitoring of tax controls, UK Senior Accounting Officer compliance and management of the risks associated with the prevention of facilitation of tax evasion. Management of the quarterly and annual audit processes : Working with Arm’s external advisers, auditors and the internal Sox team. Departmental : Developing and leading the tax reporting function, including development of team members. Providing necessary tax training and updates to the wider Arm organisation. Identifying and implementing appropriate IT solutions and automation to drive efficiencies and support the activities of the tax reporting function. Stakeholder relationships : Establishing collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. Building, developing and managing relationships with auditors. Working closely with the existing Director to ensure a smooth and effective transition of leadership during 2024/2025. Required Skills and Experience:

ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification; Post qualification experience in practice or an in-house tax team within a tax accounting and reporting team; Self-motivated and flexible, able to work to tight timescales; Strong interpersonal skills able to distill key issues and explain to the wider finance group; Mentoring of team members; “Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

CTA qualified; SOx experience; Experience with implementing IT solutions within the tax reporting framework; In Return:
